Through the course of the year, we get calls from folks who want someone to come remove the community cats from their property.

About 75% of the time, they aren’t asking this because they don’t like the cats—they’re desperate because they are having trouble affording to feed or spay/neuter the cats.

If we can intervene by providing TNR services and food support, the cats can often stay in their colony instead of going to animal control, with someone who cares about them overseeing their happier, healthier, TNR’d lives.

We distribute all types of food to our caretakers: canned food, dry food, adult food, kitten food. We can even accept opened bags of food your kitty turned up their nose to (please re-seal opened bags with tape to prevent spillage!) If it’s easier for you, you can also shop from our wishlists below.

Thank you for helping the community cats of northern Accomack County—and their people.
